Local 5G NSA / SA Core
What is a local 5G Network?
Local 5G licenses are allocated by local governments around Japan for local 5G services. This licenses are available to non Mobile operators. They are allocated on a first come type basis
for integrators & OEM that can demonstrate technical capabilities and business cases for local 5G services.
What can JIT provide?
Our Partners EPC is extended to suppoort 5G NSA 3a & 3x NR with the 4G core used as an anchor point. The same 4G core can use private 4G (sXGP) or local 4G networks. This solution is available now. All of the Services provided by JIT for local 4G/private 4G such as access control and other OTT services are available for this solution.
Our Partners 5G SA core will be available later in 2020 for use when suitable 5G NR & devices become available.
